Under the soft glow of a sunset Rufhftop, the AFS community – Coimbatore Chapter came together to celebrate two extraordinary journeys—those of Illaria from Italy and Aswin from Thailand. What unfolded was more than just a farewell; it was a vibrant tribute to friendship, cultural exchange, and unforgettable memories.

The evening featured heartfelt reflections, with Illaria and Aswin sharing their transformative experiences. Students joined in with warm interactions and personal stories, highlighting the deep bonds formed during their stay. A nostalgic video montage captured their moments with host families, classmates, and new friends, leaving many with teary eyes and full hearts.

Special recognitions were awarded to the students, their host families, the hosting schools and the volunteers who made this exchange possible, by Ms. Srisha Mohandoss , President AFS – Coimbatore Chapter.From laughter to lingering hugs, the night celebrated a powerful message: though miles may separate us, the connections we create transcend every border.

As Illaria and Aswin take a piece of India back with them, they leave behind a legacy of love, learning, and cultural harmony. Their journey here may be ending, but their story with us will always continue—etched in our hearts, and carried forward with every new friendship formed through AFS.
